About Wee Switch
Wee Switch is a Northern Ireland domestic electricity tariff comparison website operated under the Wee Switch trading name.
Wee Switch helps households compare published Northern Ireland domestic electricity tariffs in plain English. The service is built for tariff discovery and explanation; it does not complete electricity switches and it does not replace supplier confirmation.
What Wee Switch does
- Shows published Northern Ireland domestic electricity tariff rows in a simpler format.
- Sorts by estimated annual cost before incentives by default.
- Explains unit rates, standing charges, payment methods, exit fees, supplier status, and switching caveats.
- Separates base annual cost from welcome credits and loyalty incentives where those incentives are shown.
- Links users to suppliers or source material so final prices and eligibility can be confirmed before switching.
What Wee Switch does not do
- Wee Switch does not complete the electricity switch.
- Wee Switch does not guarantee savings.
- Wee Switch does not provide regulated financial advice, debt advice, legal advice, or supplier complaint handling.
- Wee Switch does not ask for bank details, passwords, account numbers, MPRNs, keypad numbers, meter serial numbers, addresses, or copies of bills.
- Wee Switch does not decide supplier eligibility, payment setup, meter compatibility, or final contract terms.
Data and independence
Tariff rows are checked against Consumer Council NI or supplier sources where needed. Referral fees, where present, must not change unit rates, standing charges, or the default annual-cost-before-incentives ranking.
